Configuration and Setup
Get started with a free Salesforce account. In our first week we work through the Configuration and Setup knowledge area. It is here that we cover Organization Setup, User Setup, and Security and Access.
Week 2 - Tuesday, November 19, 2024 - 9 PM Eastern Time / 6 PM Pacific Time
Object Manager and Lightning App Builder
Our journey continues in the second week as we dive deep into the Object Manager and start building custom objects for our first application. We use the Lightning App Builder and explore page layouts and record types to provide greater flexibility for our first app.
Week 3 - Tuesday, November 26, 2024 - 9 PM Eastern Time / 6 PM Pacific Time
Sales and Marketing Applications, AI in CRM
In our third week, we dive deep into the Lead Processes and Sales Processes of Salesforce. We follow the journey of a potential customer at their inception in Marketing as a Lead, through the Lead Conversion Process, the hand off to Sales, and a deep dive into Opportunities, Accounts, and Contacts. We create our second application to apply the concepts learned thus far.
Week 4 - Tuesday, December 3, 2024 - 9 PM Eastern Time / 6 PM Pacific Time
Service and Support Applications
In our fourth week, we complete the Attract, Attain, Retain lifecycle of a B2B or B2C relationship focusing on the Retain side of Service and Support. Here we dive deep into the Support Processes and Case Record Types. We build our third application with a focus on console functionality in a support environment.
Week 5 - Tuesday, December 10, 2024 - 9 PM Eastern Time / 6 PM Pacific Time
Productivity & Collaboration
In our fifth week, we cover both the Productivity & Collaboration and Data & Analytics Management knowledge areas. Learn Activity Management, Chatter, Data Management, Reports and Dashboards. Here we create our fourth application for your portfolio.
Week 6 - Tuesday, December 17, 2024 - 9 PM Eastern Time / 6 PM Pacific Time
Process Automation
In our final week of the live class, we cover process automation in Salesforce, including Flows and Approval Processes. We also cover important test taking strategies to maximize your chances of passing on the first attempt!
